Robert Mendoza
I’ve spent more than 18 years in wealth management, and one of the things I still love most about this work is that there’s always something new to learn. I’m naturally curious, I like solving problems, and I get a perhaps unreasonable amount of satisfaction from completing a task and crossing it off the list.
Growing up, I was taught that cash was a tool. That simple idea stuck with me and helped shape the way I think about money today: it should support what you want to do with your life, rather than be the point of it.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn a lot of hats, supporting advisors, working directly with clients, leading teams, improving operations, and helping make complicated processes feel a little less complicated. My experience spans RIAs, family offices, and private wealth management, but the part of the work I value most has always been the people.
I’m continually humbled by the trust clients place in us. Someone can be incredibly accomplished and an expert in their own field and still feel a little lost when it comes to their finances. I love being part of a team that can bring some clarity to that complexity so clients can feel more confident about their decisions and spend more of their energy on whatever gives their life purpose.

LIFE PASSIONS
Outside of work, I’m happiest near the beach, enjoying great food and a glass of red wine, cheering on the Giants, or spending time with my family. Giving back is important to me too, and over the years I’ve volunteered as a youth coach and with several Bay Area community organizations.
Fun fact: If no one were judging, I’d happily have a French Bulldog, an English Bulldog, and an infinite number of LEGO sets. I’m pretty sure only one of those poses a serious storage problem.
