Shannon Kennedy Certified Senior Advisor ®
I’m a Certified Senior Advisor, and I believe that empowering people isn’t just part of what I do; it’s the heart of it. My passion is helping people design their lives at every stage, whether they’re navigating big transitions, preparing for what’s next, or simply trying to live with more clarity and intention. At Brio, I keep a close eye on all aspects of our client experience to ensure everything we create reflects our commitment to putting people front and center.
As Brio’s Director of Community Engagement, I also help shape our charitable partnerships and community connections. My role is to bring clients, professional peers, and local organizations into the Brio inner circle in ways that feel authentic and mutually supportive. That can mean creating opportunities to learn together, expanding access to trusted professionals, hosting community-minded events, or cultivating relationships that help clients feel more connected and supported.
Before joining Brio, I spent many years refining my client-service and marketing skills in the art world. I served as Vice President of Client Services at PBA Galleries, where I loved helping people build their collections. I also worked as the Director of Marketing for a San Francisco fine art gallery and as a consultant for a custom framing production facility, roles that helped shape both my creative and operational approach to service.
Outside of work, you can often find me dancing, whether at a class or in my living room. I love wordplay, especially Scrabble, and I have a deep affection for all kinds of cheese, from the funkiest blues to Kraft singles. I’m a lifelong fan of the arts, especially ballet and film, and at home I usually have my nose buried in a book—mostly mysteries, but I read across genres. I also enjoy activities that involve tossing things like horseshoes or bocce balls, and I love hosting small gatherings built around good conversation and a signature cocktail.
